Question: What is the difference between the Perforated mat and/or the Diamond and pattern tiles?
Answer: The Perforated is mainly used in the northern states where ice and snow build up on your vehicle is an issue, as the snow and ice melts, the open pores help to contain and the debris and moisture toward the garage door, as long as there is sufficient slope to the structure/slab to allow this. The is an excellent option for this scenario; for winters although you will need to pull tiles up in early Spring to clean winter overflows; i.e. pressure clean or hose and, squeegee, etc… As we have found the Coin and Diamond Tiles to be most functional in conditions where water is not such an issue and ease of cleaning is desired.
